The Bonne Terre Parks Board along with the City of Bonne Terre has joined forces and are asking you to help make Bonne Terre’s Christmas season a lighter “brighter” and a little more “snowier” this year.
We know it’s hard to think about the Christmas season, with school just around the corner, and the heat and humidity still running high. But the time to act is now.
We are needing 20 more snowflakes to replace the old, broken Christmas decorations that are placed on the poles throughout town.
This is where you come in! We are offering you the opportunity to purchase a Diamond Snowflake. The Diamond Snowflake decorations will feature LED lighting, which is more energy efficient, longer lasting and provide a brighter display.
The cost of one 4 foot snowflake is $360.00 which includes the mounting hardware. We are calling this endeavor, Project Snow flake.
A plaque will be placed in Bonne Terre City Hall with all the names of businesses and individuals who donated a snowflake.
Snowflakes can be purchased in the name of your business, your family, or “in memory” or “in honor” of someone.
We are hoping to have the orders completed and paid for by October 1st, 2021
As long as we have our order in by October 1st, the snowflakes will be shipped and ready to put up well in time for our annual Christmas parade on Monday, December 6th.
